Lumin Sports plays a crucial role in the physical testing, monitoring, and S&C programming at Lake Travis Fire Rescue (LTFR).

Situated north-west of Austin, Texas, and tasked with covering more than 100-square miles of lakes, vast undeveloped areas and heavily populated residential communities, Lake Travis Fire Rescue operates six fire stations with more than 100 staff.

Committed to ensuring its firefighters meet the physical standards set by the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF), Lake Travis Fire Rescue uses Lumin to test and visualise its personnel’s athletic data.

''Every year every firefighter is run through about 6 different batteries of assessments including flexibility, mobility, cardio respiratory fitness, VO2 assessment, and then the nice part which was what Lumin was able to do was to take our data, put that in a new database, and so each year we pull up a dynamic report that shows exactly what they did this year and then we can show them how they're trending - either from good or bad.''
