Lumin Sports and Woodville West Torrens Football Club have entered a development partnership ahead of the 2024 SANFL season.
As part of the new partnership, the Eagles will use the Lumin platform for athletic, medical, communication and operational needs across its senior men’s and women’s programs.
Woodville West Torrens becomes the fifth SANFL club to roll out Lumin’s athlete management platform.
Woodville West Torrens Football Manager, Matt Goldsworthy, said partnering with Lumin will improve performance across the club.
‘’After careful consideration, embedding Lumin in our senior men and women’s program made sense because it makes many areas of our football program more efficient,’’ Goldsworthy said.
‘’Our medical staff have a central hub for injury management, our performance team can access physical testing and review athletic data, while our coaches have an open line of communication to the players to provide feedback on games and trademarks at any time.’’
The Eagles follow North Adelaide, South Adelaide, Norwood and last year’s premiers Glenelg in adopting the Lumin Sports platform to advance their football program.
CEO of Lumin Sports, Ben Tripodi, said welcoming the Eagles to a growing list of SANFL, WAFL and VFL teams who use Lumin demonstrates the value clubs see in software that improves performance and efficiency across multiple areas of the club.
‘’One of the reasons our client base continues to grow is that our platform can be used by operational, administrative and performance departments,’’ Tripodi said.
‘’Having said that, clubs are rightfully demanding more value from any investment they make in tech, so we’re constantly working to make sure our clients have everything they need at a competitive price.’’
Lumin’s partnership with Woodville West Torrens follows the announcement of deals with USA Touch Rugby and the Volleyball League of America.
