The number one ranked U.S. high school football team will use Lumin Sports to enhance its strength and conditioning program.

The Mater Dei Monarchs, who began their season with a commanding 42-25 win over the Centennial Huskies, will use Lumin Strength and the wider Lumin Sports platform to support the development of its elite talent.

It's part of a wider deal that sees more than 500 student athletes and coaches at the Californian high school lean on Lumin to drive high performance across its program.

Director of Athletic Performance at Mater Dei High School, Kyle Casey, said the decision to use Lumin Sports will help maintain the school’s reputation of having one of the best athletic programs in the country.

‘’I believe that Lumin is the future in strength and conditioning software,’’ Casey said.

‘’Its simplicity will give me more time to coach and less time in the office.’’

‘’I know our student athletes will benefit from the addition of Lumin to our program too.’’

Mater Dei becomes the latest high school in Southern California to embed Lumin Sports on its gym floor and in its athletics department.

Lumin Sports Chief Executive Officer, Ben Tripodi, said he’s excited to see another U.S high school realise the benefits of using Lumin Strength.

‘’Coaches like Kyle from Mater Dei know how to develop their student athletes best, we’re just excited to help them do it a little faster so they have more time with them on the gym floor,’’ Tripodi said.

Lumin Sports’ deal with Mater Dei High School follows deals with NLL and MLR teams.
