What are the fundamentals of this Pre-Season Field Athlete Program?

This training program includes specific speed development principles, with targeted acceleration and max velocity sessions.

Who is it for?

This 5 week program is designed for field-based athletes entering or currently in their sport pre-season training, to complement their technical and tactical training for their sport.

The x2 targeted days expose athletes to:

  • Movement Prep/ Warm-Up - specifically around the foot/ankle, spinal engine and hips/ lower back.

  • Acceleration - targeted drills and movements to improve and increase off the mark mechanics speed.

  • Max Velocity - targeted drills and movements to improve and increase upright running mechanics and speed.

  • Change of Direction/ Agility - elements of Change of Direction for multi-directional speed.

Coach Spotlight:

I am currently working as a private performance coach and consultant for athletes, from youth to professional. 

When it comes to coaching my methodology is simple - reverse engineer the physical demands of the sport, find the areas of opportunity or low hanging fruits in their preparation and most importantly build genuine relationships the results will follow. I follow a 4 step approach, the human, the athlete, the sport and finally the position.

How To Access your Pocket Program

To access Jordi Taylor's pocket program, complete the following steps:

  • Complete the form and hit ‘Access Demo’

  • We’ll send a demo link to your nominated email account

  • Once you’ve received the email, click ‘Complete Setup’
