NBL champions the Sydney Kings will use Lumin Sports in pursuit of back-to-back championships.
The Kings will embed Lumin’s strength and conditioning (S&C) software in their performance department, giving staff one platform to build team and individual strength programs, prescribe sessions, monitor athlete workloads and track physical development throughout the season.
Sydney Kings Lead Strength and Conditioning Coach Francesco Berre said Lumin would play a key role in how performance staff manage S&C development.
“We chose Lumin because it provides an integrated platform that allows us to manage training and performance data more efficiently,” Berre said.
“It will give our staff a clearer understanding of each athlete’s workload and development, helping us make more informed decisions and provide a more individualised approach throughout the season.”

The Kings’ decision to embed Lumin reflects a broader shift across professional basketball, with clubs moving away from spreadsheets in favour of dedicated strength and conditioning platforms.
Sydney joins Melbourne United, the Adelaide 36ers and Cairns Taipans among NBL organisations using Lumin Sports for the 2027 NBL season.
