The Las Vegas Aces have selected Lumin Sports to support strength and conditioning (S&C) programming across its high-performance program.
The Aces strength and conditioning staff will use Lumin Strength to program, prescribe and manage athlete training, while providing athletes with clearer access to their individual programs.
The Director of Health and Performance at the Las Vegas Aces , Ciara Burgi, said Lumin will help the organisation improve how training programs are delivered and managed.
“Lumin was an easy choice for us because it fills multiple needs at an extremely competitive price.”
Lumin Sports Chief Executive Officer Ben Tripodi said professional strength and conditioning departments are increasingly looking for systems built specifically around the way coaches program and work with athletes.
“Strength coaches need to be able to build, adjust and deliver programs quickly without the system getting in the way,” Tripodi said.
“The Aces operate at the highest level of professional basketball, and their decision to use Lumin Strength reinforces the shift toward purpose-built S&C software across the sport.”
The Las Vegas Aces join the LA Sparks and Portland Trail Blazers among WNBA and NBA organisations using Lumin Sports for S&C programming.
