Jacob Holmes is a former Australian Basketballer, playing 14 seasons in the National Basketball League and representing Australia at the 2006 Melbourne Commonwealth Games where he earned himself a gold medal, 'Holmsey' as he is affectionately known is a true character of Australian Basketball.


Although now retired, Jacob's heart still lives in basketball as the CEO of the Australian Basketballer's Players Association. The PA was founded in 2016 by Jacob and some of Australia's biggest former basketball stars such as Lauren Jackson.


The ABPA exists to represent, protect, advocate and promote the players in their best interests and for the benefit of basketball in Australia.
